Reagle Chocolates reaches out to touch people's hearts as well as their palates. We make it our responsibility to give people a certain quality of life. Being aware of the issues in the cacao growing regions of the world, we are active in making changes that will benefit us all. We keep our eyes and minds open to the possibility of improving and welcome new information that will improve the quality of living for all.
Reagle Chocolates is based out of Ventura, California and their products are made available online or in local retail shops. With a supportive community that has the desire to embrace change, we are expecting large growth in the years to come!
Jamie Douglas (Reagle) is a graduate from the California Culinary Academy in San Fransisco. She went in to learn about cakes, but came out a lover of chocolate. So, since that time she has been studying chocolate; it's history, it's politics, it's trends & it's possibilities. Always looking for a way to make a difference, she decided that offering a delicious alternative made of the finest Organic and FairTrade ingredients would be a start.
"I started Reagle Chocolates because I wanted to do something with my life that I could see doing forever. After years of studying chocolate I discovered there was so much more to it that we didn't know. I could enjoy a chocolate bar with the best of them, but when I was made aware of the FairTrade Association I was morally obligated to make sure I was right in sync with it. Having always been an outspoken advocate for global equality it wasn't difficult to fall in line. My chocolates are a labor of love that I hope everyone can stand behind."
